Beekeeping Clinic: A Beginner’s Guide to Starting Your Hive. The class will take place April 25, at the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center, located within Mitchell State Park in Cadillac.

GCCB public forums scheduled in April

The Gladwin County Community Builders (GCCB) will be sponsoring several public forums in April. They will be kitchen table conversations. Ther intent is to provide information on these topics so the people of Gladwin County can form a more considered position about these issues.

Free Second Saturday Supper April 11

New Beginnings Methodist Church will hold its monthly Free Second Saturday Supper, Saturday, April 11. They are located at 309 S. M-18, Gladwin, across from Loose Motor Sales. Look for the three large crosses at the entrance.This will be a takeout only meal.

Secord Fire Department has received a grant-funded underwater drone. The drone can go 380 feet below the water, and 680 feet away from the operator. It has cameras, a grab claw, and will supplement a rescue boat with live view sonar.
