Rebuttal

Body
To the Editor: You are truly a MAGA Republican. You give your opinion on who would be the best candidate between Biden and Trump, but you also state that you are a “caucasian man”.

Reader responds

Body
To the Editor: As a (Reformed) participant in the 1960’s Vietnam War Protests, I would like to put some facts straight about the following: 2016 Presidential Election; VA troubles and cures; Senator John McCain versus real Veterans. Votes.

Concerned reader

Body
To the Editor: As American Taxpayers, we should be very concerned about our current Federal Administration’ spending. Upon taking office, the current Administration pretty much threw out programs previously in place.

Donations needed

Body
To the Editor: Recently, the American Legion Post 171 finally got their own building that they now can call their own. It’s located across the street from the Ramsey Funeral Home on Silverleaf Street in Gladwin.

The unfortunate truth

Body
To the Editor: It seems that Republican political gamesmanship in both the Senate and the House of Representatives leaves the United States in an uncomfortable predicament when it comes to the Middle East. The holds that Republicans have put on the nomination process for ambassadors are hamstringing our efforts to help find ways to get hostages home safely.

Voting needs more attention

Body
To the Editor: Thanks to One-Party Democrat rule in Lansing, our state is on the road to becoming a full-scale client of Communist China. They want to sell us out to Gotion with our own taxpayer money, are pushing for 100 percent ‘clean’ but unreliable and inefficient windmills and solar panels (built in China), are pushing for electric cars that require Chinese made batteries and have coupled this with the rush to stay in power forever by enabling even more voter fraud through automatic voter registration.

Concerned reader

Body
To the Editor: Gladwin County American Legion Post 171, which is currently established at the North Park building, on the corner of First Street and Anchor Street. The post has leased this building from the Gladwin City Council, for the past three years.

Millages

Body
To the Editor: Did you know, that a millage vote can be passed without the approval of the taxpayers? Not only is it possible, but it may have already happened. Let me explain.

EDITOR’S INBOX

Body
To the Editor: SITUATION SUMMARY I was terminated from my role as County Administrator for Gladwin County on 9/29/2023 in a public meeting in what I can only characterize as a targeted personal attack meant to do maximum harm to me, my reputation, and my ability to seek future employment. The stated reason for my termination was for “misappropriation of county funds”, an accusation that was never properly investigated nor proven to be true.

EDITOR’S INBOX

Body
To the Editor: When I arrived in May the assistant park manager was still actively taking care of this park. I live in my camper in the summer, since my husband passed away, and my church family and friends from the last 25 years are living in Gladwin.
