The Gladwin Community School Bands held their combined concert on Wednesday, Feb. 25. It included students from fifth grade to senior high. Directors were Mr. Lull and Mrs. Sapienza.
Five high school students participating in the Future Farmers of America Leadership Contest presented a skit before the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners at its Regular Meeting Tuesday. The presentation in front of a government board was required as part of the competition and (left to right) Brenna Buzzell of Gladwin; Jordyn Schultz, Sophie Milks and Hope Vantiem, of Beaverton and Evelyn Dewey of Farwell discussed issues involving the use of pesticides in agriculture.

Council approves donation to spur economic development

GLADWINThe Gladwin County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will receive a $5,000 contribution from the City of Gladwin after a resolution was passed last Tuesday at the Regular Meeting of the City Council.
