GLADWIN COUNTY Have a Holly Jolly Christmas by helping fill the Christmas Kindness Donation cans located all around Gladwin County this season. The Christmas Kindness program brings both warmth and joy to Gladwin County children, ages 18 and under.

Back 40 buck pole event to return November 19

GLADWIN The Back 40 Taxidermy is bringing back its Hangin’ on Cedar Buck Pole event to Gladwin on Saturday, November 19. Previously held on Antler Street, the event will now be held at Piper’s Pub.

Michigan invests in expanding child care

MICHIGAN Last Friday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that child care entrepreneurs will soon be able to apply for start-up grants. The $23 million dollar in funding is part of Caring for Mi Future, a bold plan to open or expand 1,000 new child care programs by the end of 2024.

RTLGC raises $20K for Right to Life of Michigan

GLADWIN COUNTY On Thursday, October 20, 108 guests attended a Focus on Life Dessert Event Fundraiser sponsored by Right to Life of Gladwin County (RTLGC) which netted $2,633 from tickets and donations and $2,849 from the silent auction.
