BEAVERTON When students returned to school in Beaverton last week, they were greeted by some familiar faces in different places. Three of those familiar faces are now in charge of Beaverton Elementary and Beaverton Jr./Sr. High School.
The Beaverton Farmers Market is open May 5 through October 27, on Fridays 2-6 p.m. and is located at Ross Lake Park, 435 Lang Road, in Beaverton. Check them out.

WASHINGTON Until 11:59 p.m. local time Sept. 30, 2023, Veterans who deployed to a combat zone, never enrolled in the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care, and left active duty between Sept. 11, 2001 and Oct. 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll directly in VA health care.
The Gladwin Farmer’s Market, located on North State Street, is open every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., until October 14. The Farmer’s Market offers a variety of items like wooden furniture, blankets, maple syrup, and fresh herbs. Pictured is the market on June 24.

WASHINGTON The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced it has permanently housed 26,470 Veterans through July 2023, on pace to exceed its goal of housing 38,000 homeless Veterans in 2023.
