The City of Beaverton will be hosting a Beaverton Fall Fest downtown on West Brown Street on October 26. Activities will begin at 12 p.m. with family friendly activities, such as: pumpkin painting, hay rides, face painting cider and donuts, popcorn, games, and sidewalk sales.From 3-6 p.m.

GLADWINThe Haunted Woods, located behind Meadow Lanes bowling alley, 430 W. 5th Street, will be from 8-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for the rest of the month. It is $8 per person or $15 for two people.Proceeds from the event go to the Travel Club, Gladwin Choir, and Gladwin Band.

GLADWINThe Gladwin Community Schools Board of Education held their October meeting on Monday, October 14 at the Gladwin Jr. High School.During the superintendent’s reports, Superintendent Frisbie shared that student enrollment is at 1,720 students in the district, up 117 students from last spring.
