Iwas nestled deeply in my comfy chair, enjoying an afternoon nap. The warmth enveloping my body emanated from a great hot lunch, and my warm blanket felt like waves of glowing embers from a quiet evening campfire.The phone ringing abruptly awakened me.

The Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) will continue hosting distributions the third Saturday of each month, with its next distribution being on Saturday, October 19 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 S. M-18, Gladwin.
Members of MARSP-Gladwin County Chapter met on August 23, 2024, at Mack’s Menu for a program on Christmas Kindness by Karrie Mungen, followed by lunch, a fun mixer activity, and a trivia game arranged by chapter member, Darleen Gauci.
