Gospel music/dinner slated for October 13

GLADWIN COUNTYThere will be a free Gospel Music/Dinner event on Sunday, October 13 at the Wagarville Community Christian Church, 2478 Wagarville Road, Gladwin.The chicken dinner will be at 3 p.m. and the concert, featuring Key of Mercy, with Frank Hutchinson, will be at 4:30 p.m.

LANSING“ We’re rolling with the changes,” said Kathy Kochanski, the transportation coordinator for Troy Public Schools, as more school districts across the state adopt electric buses to reduce emissions and promote cleaner energy.

Boy Scout Troop help out the community

GLADWINocal Boy Scout Troop 779 helped out at the Thunder on the Strip event by helping park cars, directing attendees where to park.The troop also carried out highway clean up on M-61, from Littletown to Hockaday.

70th Foutch annual family reunion

GLADWINThe Foutch family gathered at the Sage Township Hall on July 27, 2024, for the 79th annual reunion. The Lord’s Prayer was said by all prior to the meal. There were 66 in attendance. The reunion provided chicken legs, meatballs, brats and hot dogs. At approximately 2:05 p.m.
