Hail rained from the skies. Showers soaked the grass and dirt. The crowd remained seated. The players kept playing, their jersey’s drenched and their fingers freezing. The Gladwin Flying G’s girls varsity softball team pushed through the frigidly wet conditions, hosting the Cadillac Vikings Tuesday night, the fourth of April.
