Wayne W. Vannest, 85, of Midland died Saturday, March 25 at Stone Crest in Freeland. Wayne was born in Detroit on February 26, 1938 to Olive (Lucas) and Wellington Vannest and moved to Gladwin when he was eight.

Eunice Brown, age 86, of Coleman, MI, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born on March 3, 1937. In 1957 she was united in marriage to Theodore Brown. They shared 65 years of marriage. They have been inseparable ever since. Wherever he was, she followed. They loved camping and fishing.

John Drummond, 87, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1935, the son of Angus and Celeste Drummond. On May 10, 1981, he was united in marriage to his wife, Rosy. He owned his own construction business in Midland, Drummond Framing.

The kind and gentle soul of John C. Frazier, age 89, of Gladwin, left this world for one of eternal life on Friday, March 3, 2023. He was born on August 4, 1933, in Jackson, Michigan to the late Homer and Helen (Phelps) Frazier.

Stanley Earl Smith

Stanley Earl Smith passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 95. He was born in the city of Gladwin, Michigan, in the afternoon of October 31, 1927 to Wilbur and Vera (Taylor) Smith. He grew up in Gladwin County and attended five different rural schools in the county.

Mark A. Muma

Mark A. Muma, age 58, of Clio, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. He was born on September 1, 1964, the son of Harold and Betty (Fiser) Muma in Flint. He was a mechanic for Trade Winds RV in Clio before retiring. He had many hobbies and interests. Anyone who knew him, knew his love for music!

Richard Patrick Kelly

Richard Patrick Kelly, age 76, resident of Gladwin, passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 11, 2023, under the care of MyMichigan Hospice. Per Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
