Lola Jean Brubaker
Lola Jean Brubaker, age 87, of Beaverton, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1937, to Issac and Velma (Cuddie) Markle, in Gladwin. On July 19, 1952, Jean married the love of her life, Charles Linus Brubaker. Together they shared a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Jean dedicated 27 years as the manager at Ashcraft’s, where she took great pride in her work. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Jean loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing with her husband and camping with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and gambling.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles; children: Charles (Vicki) Brubaker, Cathy (Blye) Robinette, Craig (Linda) Brubaker, Cal (Shelle) Brubaker, and Casey (Lori) Brubaker; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; and sister, Iris Woodbury.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Velma; sister, Mary Gould; and great-grandchildren: Aden and Morgan.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
