Barbara L. Hagenbaugh

Barbara L. Hagenbaugh, age 85, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 18, 1939, the daughter of Vern and Dorothy (Whitmer) Hale, in Gladwin. On August 15, 1959, Barbara married the love of her life, Donald, in Beaverton. They shared 65 years of love and cherished memories together.

Barbara had a passion for flower gardening. She loved baking, spending time outdoors, often spending time hunting, fishing, and camping. Barbara also loved spending time with family and friends. She was Queen of her Red Hat Society Chapter.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald; children: Jeffery (Tammy) Hagenbaugh and Stephanie (Todd Olson) Hagenbaugh; grandchildren: Scott, Dustin, Joshua, Caleb, and Tyler; great-grandchildren: Laneaya, Brennen, Ryker, Bryn, and Reagan; sisters: Helen (Jessie) Dale and Beatrice Brubaker; sister-in-law, Teri (Dean) Dowling; close friends: Fran and Marty Smith, Fred and Cheryl Greynolds, and Carolyn Skym; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Dorothy; brothers: Bill Hale, Rick Hale, and Leo Hale; and sister, Judy Slaughter.
