Daniel “Danny” Pahl

Daniel “Danny” Pahl, age 78, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born on November 28, 1945, to Eddie and Mamie (Hager) Pahl.

On March 30, 1964, Danny married the love of his life, Susan Switzer, and together they shared 60 years of love and cherished memories.

Danny worked as a dedicated employee at Dow Corning for 32 years until his retirement. He was a member of New Beginnings Global Methodist Church and a proud member of the Gladwin Masonic Lodge #397. Danny was an avid golfer and hunter. He also enjoyed sharing his musical talents. Danny was an active member and supporter of his community, frequently attending and cheering on Gladwin Athletics. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; children: Julie (Tim) Prout, Thomas (Lynn) Pahl, Stephen (Denise) Pahl, Jason (Kara) Pahl, and Joshua (Jen) Pahl; grandchildren: Jessica (Marshall) Johnson, Jerad (Tamara) Salisbury, Javan (Mark) Salisbury, Sam Pahl, Will Pahl, Danny Pahl, Blake Pahl, Brandon (Sydney) Pahl, Ben Pahl, Madylin Pahl, Alex Pahl, and Jacob Pahl; and greatgrandchildren: Lydee, Jayda, Brody, and Jeremiah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Mamie; in-laws, Pete and Lois Switzer; and siblings, Max and Connie.

Funeral services took place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. at New Beginnings Global Methodist Church in Gladwin.

Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Visitation was also be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 3-8 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. A Masonic Service took place on Monday evening.
