Judy Ann Hale Slaughter

Judy Ann Hale Slaughter, 70 years old, passed away March 9, 2024 in Zephyrhills, Florida, originally from Argentine, Michigan.

She was born and raised in Gladwin County, Michigan, the daughter of Vern and Dorothy Hale. Judy loved her life. She spent two years in Germany. She graduated from Fenton High School. She owned and operated two bakeries.

She was quite the baker and did beautiful cakes and tasty too. Judy liked sewing, quilt making with her sisters. She also was a red hatter with the red hatters of Linden, Michigan.

Judy is survived by her husband John and two children, Travis McGiven and Tina Louis; two step children, Stacey and Debbie; and nine grandchildren.

Judy was from a family of eight brothers and sisters, Barbara (Don) Hagenbaugh of Beaverton, Helen (Jesse) Hale of Flint, Bea Brubaker of Beaverton; her brothers are deceased, Bill, Les, James and Rick. She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband John.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held sometime in August.
