Rodney Lee “Rod” Nash of Gladwin, MI passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI on June 9, 2024 at the age of 66. He was born on December 8, 1957 in Gladwin, MI to the late Marvin and Betty (Beavers) Nash. He is a graduate of Gladwin High School.
Rodney’s love for NASCAR was a defining aspect of his life, bringing him endless joy and excitement. He had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream by driving a real NASCAR series stockcar several times at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Those moments behind the wheel were cherished highlights that he held dear until his final days.
Rodney is survived by his siblings: Ronnie Nash, Becky (Doug) Padella, Patti (Carl) Meixner, Kyle (Cindy) Nash, Kevin Nash; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Marv and Betty Nash; and his brother, Gary Nash. He will be missed by his family and his friends at Kirby’s Adult Foster Care in Harrison, MI.
