The big men went first last Wednesday night when the Gladwin wrestling team took on Beaverton in the finals of the Division 3 team district tournament at Pinconning.
At 215, Harvey Grove accepted a void to give the Flying G’s a 6-0 lead, but the Beavers evened the score when heavyweight Leland Love pinned Nick Brasseur to make it 6-6.
