Even though Gladwin rolled through the first 15 games of the Northern Michigan Soccer League campaign without much trouble, capping off the league championship was anything but easy.
The Flying G’s won the East Division and Clare took the West, setting up a crossover contest for all the marbles on Oct. 9.
