The lady Beavers of basketball took to the road on Thursday night, traveling long distance down state to Shepherd. The ladies returned home after a seven-point victory over the Blue Jays. The final score was 43-30.
The first quarter was unproductive, neither team clicked until late in the quarter. The final three minutes, however, was packed with fast breaks and lead swaps between the two teams. Both Faith Danielak and Leiyah Mungin scored on three-point shots. Taylor Bonham was also crucial in the first quarter, scoring four points for the Beavers.
