The pregame celebration honored three Beaverton Alumni, recently inducted into the Beavers Hall of Fame. Steve Brown (Class of ’74), Andrea Calhoun Redman (Class of ’78), and Katie Parker Siwicki (Class of ’92).
Brown broke several Beaverton and Jack Pine records in long jump and the 100-yard dash during his career as a Track and Field star for the Beavers. One record still stands tall to this day, Beaverton’s record for the long jump. The record jump, an incredible 22 feet and 4.5 inches.
Siwicki also ran track and field for the Beavers. Siwicki holds three records in Beaverton’s track and field record books.
