Evenly matched, the two teams constantly exchanged the lead throughout the first quarter. Both Beaverton and Evart took their time passing to set up their shots, remaining clean and mostly mistake free.
Beaverton displayed an excellent ability to crash the boards and rebound at a lofty rate, creating plenty of second chance shots for the Beavers.
