On December 17, in the parking lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church, there was a Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) where over 17,000 pounds of food from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan was passed out to 246 households and 614 household members. This distribution would not have been possible without the 28 volunteers who came out to work at this very busy time of year....
