Gladwin’s Karen Steinkraus made the witch hat worn by the late Dolly Parton in a picture that appeared in the star’s latest cookbook and a copy is on display at The Golden Tree on East Maple.

When Dolly Parton passed away in August, she left behind a legacy of music and movies for her legions of fans.
And a cookbook. “Good Lookin’ Cooking” was published in 2024, co-written by Dolly and her sister, Rachel.
The book featured a year’s worth of recipes on a month-to-month basis.
For October, Dolly went with a Halloween theme and is pictured dressed as a witch offering up a “Boo-U Meal”…
