Dancers participate in second competition of season
Senior jazz team “Heartburn” received Diamond and second overall.
Clog team “Rocky Top” received Diamond, first overall, and a judge’s award.
Gladwin High School student Ellie Celestino received multiple honors at the Encore Dance Competition for the Stars.
Intermediate jazz team “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels” received Diamond, first overall, best showmanship, and highest novice routine ages 12 plus.
Junior pom team “Feel This Moment” received Platinum and fourth overall.

Congratulations to the members of the Gail Wildfong School of Dance (GWSD) dance team, who traveled to Hartland on the second weekend of March to compete at Encore DCS (Dance Competition for the Stars). In their second competition of the season, seventy local dancers competed against 13 other studios in an event made up of nearly 600 routines.
