Students light up County Board meeting

  • Five high school students participating in the Future Farmers of America Leadership Contest presented a skit before the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners at its Regular Meeting Tuesday. The presentation in front of a government board was required as part of the competition and (left to right) Brenna Buzzell of Gladwin; Jordyn Schultz, Sophie Milks and Hope Vantiem, of Beaverton and Evelyn Dewey of Farwell discussed issues involving the use of pesticides in agriculture.
