Rachel Marie Matthew
Our grandmother Rachel Marie Matthew of Beaverton, MI has passed away. She was born on Nov. 21, 1940, the daughter of Edward and Ruthann Fisher in Midland, Michigan. Rachel was a lifelong member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary for Aerie 3655, including serving as the ladies president. Everyone who knew her knows her heart was as big as her opinion.
Grandma was preceded in death by her significant other, Walter Raines; her children: Daniel Matthew Jr. and Misako Lynn (Moe) Matthew. Her grandson, Michael Durbin III; and her brothers: Bruce, Tom and Larry Fisher. Rachel is survived by April (Chad) Muma, Sarah (Jason) Publow, Kayla Guest; great-grandchildren: Braxtin (Shelby) Muma, Cheyenne (Late Michael) Durbin III, Drake (Lilly) Muma, Ashtyn (Danny) Stepaniak, Xander (Ashley) Dell, Landon Dell, Austin Publow, Cody (Mikayla) Publow, Logan (Kelsey) Publow, Seth Publow and Mason (Katie) Publow. Great-great-grandsons: Easton and Colson Publow of Liberty, KY; and greatgreat- granddaughter, Rory Michael Durbin.
