Beverly Marilyn Cushing
Beverly Marilyn Cushing, age 82, of Gladwin went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025 at McLaren Greater Lansing-Michigan. Beverly was born Jan. 9, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Margaret Aitken and Thomas Aitken. Beverly was united in marriage to Mr.
William Samuel Cushing on May 25, 1963 in Oakland County, Michigan. Mr.
Cushing preceded Beverly in death on August 12, 2019.
Mrs. Cushing had resided in rural Gladwin since 1993, moving from Rochester Hills, Michigan. Beverly was an active member of Grace Fellowship Church, Gladwin since 1993. She enjoyed her free time making cards, playing card games and games on her iPad. She loved to binge watch murder mystery television shows, taking road trips and periodically to Mackinaw City and the surrounding area. As a young girl, Beverly enjoyed horseback riding.
Surviving Beverly are her two children: Kim of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Jason Cushing and wife, Juanita, of Gladwin; her five loving grandchildren: Nicole (Dylan), Austin, Crystal (Ryan), Grace and Pyper; three great-grandchildren: Avery, Walker and Ryland; her fur baby, Misty; plus many nieces, nephews, extended family and church friends.
Beverly is also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Terry Cushing; two sisters: Marylou and Diann and three brothers: Bill, Thomas, and Don.
Funeral services for Mrs.
Cushing was held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at 1 p.m., from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 165 W. Oak St., Harrison with Pastor Matthew Miller officiating. Visitation took place Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026 from 12 p.m. until time of service. Burial immediately followed at Hamilton Township Cemetery, Harrison.
