Geoffrey James Hobin

Geoffrey James Hobin, age 53, of Gladwin, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025. He was born on July 8, 1972, the son of Geoffrey and Sharon (Jenson) Hobin in Royal Oak, MI. Geoffrey graduated with his Bachelor’s in Business from Central Michigan University. He worked in construction for many years and worked as a bookkeeper for Butman Township.

Geoffrey loved working with wood and cooking. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching football.

He is survived by his parents, Geoffrey and Sharon; sister, Jennifer (Levi) Matteson; nephews: Levi, Everett, Hayden, and Finley; along with several other extended family members and lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and cousins.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, 11 a.m., at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome. com.
