Mary Lou Muma
Mary Lou Muma, age 83 of Gladwin passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 with her loved ones by her side, at Gladwin Nursing and Rehab. She was born Feb. 22, 1942 to Wayne and Marion Carbeno (Gooden) in Gladwin.
She worked for Andy Muma for several years nailing pallets. She worked at Simpson’s for 25 years.
She also was a home health care aid for a very special gentleman. She also delivered meals on wheels for Gladwin County.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to the casino, knitting washcloths for her family, going on color tours with her mom, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Carol) Muma; grandchildren: Crystal (Shane) Woodford, Candy Muma, and Casey (Kayla) Muma; three great-grandchildren: Richard Woodford, Sophia Muma, and Paul (Honey) Muma; brother, Dennis (Deb) Carbeno; brother-in-law, Chuck Waldron; sister-in-law, Maxine Carbeno; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Marion Carbeno; two sisters, Pat Holms and Carol Waldron; two brothers, Dave and Charles Carbeno; a special loved one, Michael Muma; and a special friend, Lester Corlew.
Mary Lou’s wishes there will be no funeral service at this time. At a later date a grave side service will be announced.
