At the end of the first quarter of Friday night’s game at Bullock Creek, the Clare football team was looking up at a 14-7 deficit and wondering if a third straight victory was in the cards.
And then, the Pioneers ran away and hid, scoring the next three touchdowns on the way to a wild 62-28 victory.
The Lancers opened the scoring with a 9-yard touchdown run and added the extra point.
