The Gladwin volleyball team had reason to celebrate after winning last Wednesday’s Jack Pine Conference opener over Farwell in three sets.

Grinding through a rough early-season schedule paid off last Wednesday night when the Gladwin volleyball team opened the Jack Pine Conference campaign with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-15 sweep of visiting Farwell.
“Things went very well for us overall,” said Flying G’s coach Tony Wetmore. “We’ve had a lot of tough competition, so it was nice to just work on some new things on our side.
