Wayne Kenneth Methner

Wayne Kenneth Methner, known to all simply as Wayne, embarked on his final ride into the sunset on March 25, 2025, at the age of 83. Wayne passed away of natural causes in Gladwin.

Born on December 2, 1941, Wayne hit the ground dribbling, not literally, but he did graduate from Beaverton High School with a basketball in hand. His love for the game was only matched by his love for music, specifically the hip-shaking tunes of Elvis Presley.

After hanging up his high school jersey, Wayne took his talents to Robinson Industries, where he became a beloved figure until his retirement.

Wayne is survived by his devoted spouse, Betty Methner; his children: Melissa Lamb, Wayne Methner, and Bethany Lang (alongside her spouse, Dan); his grandchildren, from the late Wayne Methner to Danielle, Jesse (with spouse Brittany), Breanna (with spouse Colt), Isaac (and significant other Tayla), Molly; and his great-grandchildren: Malia, Jackson, and Nova.
