GLADWINGladwin County is in the midst of revising its Master Plan and is once again asking the public to help set its future course.The County Board of Commissioners and its ad hoc Master Planning Steering Committee wants public input about what they envision for the future.

GLADWIN COUNTYOn Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at approximately 7:40 a.m., deputies from the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office were called to investigate a personal injury accident upon Beaverton Road, west of S. Bard Road., in Beaverton Township, involving a semi-truck and Amish buggy.

Cyclists enjoy stop in town

GLADWINBicyclists from throughout the state take part in the annual DALMAC ride from East Lansing to Mackinaw City over Labor Day weekend and, as usual, many of them stopped for the night in the Gladwin High School parking lot Thursday evening.

Zach Bates Is leaving his post at the Gladwin County Conservation District, effective Friday.Bates has been the Conservation Outreach & Education Specialist for the district for more than two years and has decided to go back to school at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA.
