BeavertonThe First Presbyterian Church of Beaverton located at 201 S. Ross (across from Huntington Bank) will be hosting their annual Harvest Dinner on Oct. 16, from 4-7 p.m.Dinner will include roast beef and all the trimmings, dessert, and beverages.

Pole barn ablaze on Saturday

The Gladwin Rural Urban Fire Department respond ed to a pole barn fire Saturday morning at 631 S. Littletown. The fire was extinguished and the build ing is insured. Secord Township, Butman Township and Beaverton also responded to the call. No one was injured and the cause has yet to be determined.

GLADWINYet another accident involving an amish buggy occurred in Gladwin County on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The crash took place around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection of Wagarville and North Hockaday Road in Gladwin Township.

Free Planatarium Event at Delta College
