BEAVERTONThings are flowing more smoothly every day when it comes to the Beaverton EGLE Water Systems Improvement Project.The City Council enthusiastically approved two contracts, which will keep things moving toward completion of the project, currently set for October of next year.

GLADWINThe Gladwin County District Library (GCDL) is looking to fill a position, a Gladwin City resident, on its Board of Directors for a four-year term. The board meets monthly, alternating between the Gladwin Library and the Beaverton Branch Library. Committees convene as needed.
A meet and greet was held last Wednesday at Rivertown Inn to welcome Dusty Welsh, the new Director of Business Services & Economic Development at Michigan Works! Region 7B to the area. Among the community leaders who attended were (left to right) Bob Balzer of Consumer’s Energy, Welsh and Beaverton’s Scott Govitz.
