GLADWIN COUNTYKaylynn Laidlaw, Director of Gladwin Services for Shelterhouse of Midland and Gladwin Counties, was recently recognized as a 40 Under 40 Awardee by the Middle Michigan Development Corporation and Greater Gratiot Development Inc.

Gladwin High School has a new banner to hang after being designated a MI HEARTSafe School. The staff worked with MyMichigan Health and local first responders to prepare a plan of action in the event of a medical emergency.

GLADWINGladwin High School has been awarded the MI HEARTSafe School designation by the Michigan Alliance for Prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death of the Young.

Construction is underway on one of the final phases of the Trail of Two Cities in Beaverton, a grant-funded walking/cycling path that will connect Beaverton and Gladwin upon completion.
