GLADWINMatthew E. Miller was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a 42-yearold and father of four children, ages 8-19. He has a wonderful, kind hearted wife, Diana, they are a great family.He is a truck driver and Diana works in a bakery.

Joseph Schulz came to Gladwin in 1891 in response to the dire need for a grist mill in Gladwin, that had been widely publicized by the Gladwin County Record. A previous mill had been built by C. C. Foutch at what is now Wiggins Lake, but burned to the ground soon after.
