Snow Bunting
Today I was out driving the rural roads north of Gladwin, scanning the fields in hopes of finding birds unique to this habitat and the winter season: Snow Buntings. Driving slowly northward on Shell Road, I spotted some movement in the road ahead. I brought my Outback to a stop, lifted my binoculars, and there they were, picking up grit off the road.
