The winner of the turnover battle won the game, too, Thursday night when the Gladwin football team lost its season-opener with Flat Rock 43-26.
That’s how it goes. “When you win the turnover battle and limit big plays, you usually win the game,” said Flying G’s coach Marc Jarstfer. “We had four turnovers and they didn’t have any.
