Awild rally by the Beaverton junior varsity football team and a wilder finish by Clare lifted the Pioneers to a 36-20 victory Thursday.
The Beavers scored on their opening drive, taking a 6-0 lead on a 15-yard touchdown run by Colton Miller.
Clare took charge after that and led 20-6 at the halftime break.
