Gladwin skates to surprisingly big win over rival Tawas

    Given the longtime rivalry between the players on the Gladwin hockey team and Tawas, the Flying G’s expected an epic battle Friday night when they returned from the holiday break to square off with the Braves Friday night.

    It didn’t happen. Gladwin scored the first goal, fell behind briefly and then ran away with a 10-5 victory.
