Gladwin skates to regional final

    The first round of the Division 3 hockey state tournament wasn’t much of a problem for Gladwin.

    The Flying G’s weren’t exactly at their high-flying best, but they still bombed the FMV Griffins 6-1 on Saturday at Northern Lights Arena in Alpena in the regional semifinals.

    The win set up a regional final match-up with host Alpena tonight at 6 p.m.
