Gladwin hockey team learns its lessons after successful first season

The first season of varsity hockey at Gladwin ended with an 8-3 loss to Alpena in the Division 3 regional finals.

The Flying G’s fell behind 4-0 in a first period that marked the first time all season they really felt outmanned by the opposition.

Alpena was comfortably ahead the rest of the way, but only outscored the locals 4-3 in the final two periods.
