Gladwin’s Madisyn Lockwood scored both goals last Tuesday in a 2-1 victory over Ogemaw Heights that lifted the Flying G’s into the semifinals of the Division 2 District Tournament.

After pulling out a pair of tough 1-0 victories over Ogemaw Heights during the regular season, the Gladwin soccer team knew it would have another battle on its hands in the first round of the Division 2 districts last Tuesday.
The Flying G’s had to face the Falcons for a third time and proved to be to the challenge in a 2-1 victory that kept the season going.
