Aschool record and 12 other teams fell Friday when the Gladwin girls’ track team finished first at the Fowlerville Early Season Open.
The Flying G’s topped the charts with 142 points, way ahead of second-place Walled Lake Western with 89.33. They were led by senior Abby Robinson, who won the 800 meters in a time of 2:22.19 to eclipse a school record of 2:23.5 that was set back in 1981.
