    Shooting blanks in the third quarter cost the Gladwin girls’ basketball team a 44-36 loss to visiting Clare Friday night.

    The Flying G’s led 13-12 after the first quarter and were down just 23-21 at the half, but were outscored 12-0 in the third quarter and never recovered, despite making a rousing comeback bid in the final eight minutes.
