Gladwin’s Drake Ross set a school record in the pole vault at a meet Friday at Meridian, while teammate Myles Robinson (inset) won the 400 in a meet last Wednesday and ran second Friday.
Beaverton’sGageSpencer ran first in the 3200 and third in the 1600 last week at Gladwin.

Three Jack Pine Conference rivals were at Gladwin last Wednesday for a boys’ track meet and the Flying G’s took off with three lopsided victories, beating Standish 100-60, Harrison 130.5-32.5 and Beaverton 135-25.
The Beavers lost to Standish 101-35 and to Harrison 108-40.
Myles Robinson won the 400 meters in a time of 50.83 for Gladwin, with Beaverton’s David Abreu third in 59.85.
