The first quarter was relatively competitive but, after that, the Gladwin boys’ basketball team was off and running in a 66-29 victory over Clare Friday night.
The Flying G’s led 17-10 after eight minutes of play, but held the Pioneers to single digits in each of the remaining three quarters and it was no contest.
The hosts led 34-15 at halftime and 55-23 after three.
