Finishing fifth at the Division 2 state meet last season elevated the Gladwin boys’ cross country team to the penthouse level at Michigan State’s Spartan Invitational Friday.
All of the schools who finished in the top 10 in any division were entered into the Elite race, which was quite a who’s who.
