    The high school cross country season may have ended at the state meet but, as is typical of distance runners, Gladwin’s Elijah Christensen kept on going.

    The senior won the race at the regional and earned All-State honors after finishing sixth at the Division 2 state meet with a school record time of 15:18.8.
