Butch, himself, didn’t make it to the gym last Tuesday night when the Beaverton boys’ basketball team hosted ancient rival Gladwin in the “Battle for Butch.”
He is roughly 623 in dog years and spends his time preserved in a plastic case these days.
Nevertheless, he was barking, especially during the first half of what turned out to be a 61-49 victory for the Flying G’s.
